How we work

Elizabeth House is registered to provide care to 20 elderly people. When coming to live in the home, all residents should be able to walk independently, with a walking frame or stick to give support and confidence if necessary.

We are a registered charity and non-profit making organisation, administered by a management committee of volunteers. The day-to-day running of the home is the responsibility of the Care Manager, with their Deputy and staff.

Our aim at Elizabeth House is to provide care, comfort and contentment at the highest level. In the unlikely event that a resident or family member is not completely satisfied with our service, we have a clear complaints policy which all of our residents have access to.

Any residents with concerns are encouraged to discuss them with a member of staff, the Care Manager or a member of the Management Committee. Alternatively, they can contact the Care Quality Commission telephone number 03000 616161 or their website link and their CQC Inspection Report Link .
